Access Bars
Pak Rianto Sudewo is an experienced and certified Access Bars practitioner. During the Green Leader 9 program, he presented a session on “Mind Power Manifestation Green Leader 9.”
At the beginning of his presentation, Pak Rianto opened with a statement by Dawson Church, Ph.D.:
“The important task of adulthood is to heal our childhood wounds so that we can reclaim our full potential.”
Pak Rianto introduced a method to balance thoughts and emotions, helping to reduce mental pressure. He also referred to the book Principles of Psychology by William James (1890), which simplifies emotions into four basic categories: love, fear, sadness, and anger.
The subconscious mind is a part of our thoughts that stores memories, emotions, desires, hopes, and impulses that cannot be directly accessed by conscious awareness. The conscious mind consists of creativity, logic, analytical thinking, short-term memory, and enthusiasm, while the subconscious holds habits, emotions, laziness, long-term memory, and self-protection.
Access Bars is a technique involving gentle touch on 32 points on the head, known as Bars. Each point corresponds to different aspects of life, such as happiness, patience, creativity, communication, and more. The goal of Access Bars is to relieve mental pressure, promote relaxation, and release energy blockages that may be disrupting emotional balance. By applying light, focused touches to specific points, this technique helps reduce stress, enhance concentration, and stimulate both mental and physical recovery. Access Bars sessions can be relatively short yet have a significant impact on changing one’s perception and understanding of life. Many individuals report feeling calmer, more connected to themselves, and experiencing increased creativity after trying this method.
Although there is no clinical scientific evidence proving the effectiveness of Access Bars, many people claim to experience its benefits firsthand. Access Bars is considered a complementary technique that can support mental and emotional well-being.
Pak Rianto hopes that after learning about Access Bars, Green Leader participants will consider it as an option to maintain mental and emotional health amidst daily pressures. This way, they can achieve a balanced mindset and emotional state.
At the end of the session, all participants had the opportunity to try the Access Bars method, guided by trained practitioners.
